My brother does competition windows, and puts that film on it give him a shout he will know!!
Well after my experience on Sunday I wouldn't be recommending the clear normal stuff as I broke the small window on the drivers door and the film broke aswell causing a peice of glass to fly into the navigators eye.
Apparantly there is only one guy down in Kerry who has the proper F.I.A stuff. Just my expericene on it.
I think according to the Green book it is supposed to be FIA approved and of a minimum thickness, scrutineers seem to just check that you have something on the windows though..........................
I think they are gettin stricter on it tho!!
Yes there is an anti shatter film.
It can be bought from Demon Tweeks
Very very good stuff
Yep

you need the FIA ( Not sure how you know it is FIA Approved only by what murry motorsport said to me) anti shatter film, I got some from murry motorsport 80 euro and i had plenty to do a 205gti... And with a bit of practice you can put it on yourself.

Jim.
Ya there gone strict on it, we had a prob at scrutinity for the galway international but he just wrote in the logbook to have it on for the next event,
Whoever supplies it should be able to tell you if its fia approved
i have all the rolls of that stuff u need j.p;)

and before anyone says it is f.i.a stamped :D
i know someone who will do you a tax disc:p:p:p
