Surely they are proposing to ONLY ban 'home-built' , space framed yokes like a mini or a nova running a motorbike engine or a 2.0 16v vaux. engine in either the front or rear... or both ??

Just a thought : If the MOT centre issues a modified car with a road worthyness certificate who are the MSA to say otherwise ????

Don't worry - the DVLA in mainland UK are already on the way down the road of making ANY deviation from a standard production go through an SVA test - even if you just upgrade a set of front brake drums to disc brakes from the same make of vehicle!!
Just read the letter inside the back cover of this months classic ford.:caution::caution:
