If you want an MSA Licence you need to send £45 to them for a starter pack. Then you need to pay Superdrive £180 pounds for the assessment.

Yeah ross as far as i know either licence covers you on both sides. The Southern licence when you get it has conditions about being restricted to a certain size of engine for a period of time but i`m not 100% on what it is.

Join your local motorclub ross the will give you all the info you need if the north is like down here if you are not a member the licence is twice the price most are only 10-20 quid to join and you can marshall or help out which is part of the sport too :(

Ring Motorsport Ireland and ask them to send you a first time licence application form,

Join your local motor club and when you get the licence app form get your club to stamp it and fill out your details and what licence you wish to apply for and post it off with the fee for the licence.

If you are going for a rally drivers licence you can only get a national B which means you cant compete on the international sections of rallys and you can only drive a car 1600cc or less. To upgrade your licence to national A you must finish 4 single day rally's or 2 2day rally's and get the appropriate signatures on your licence and return it to motorsport ireland requesting to upgrade it and there is no cc restrictions.
