Jimmy McRae winning Galway 1980

He did the MIntex in an HS as well then got the HSR for the COI which he won too. Think in fact he won the 1980 Tarmac Championship that year as he did Donegal and Cork in an HSR.

Hi I was wondering if anybody could help me please,I'm trying to get a photo or two of the late Harry Cathcart when he was driving his little Talbot Samba Rally Car. Many Thanks, Jonni.

These two are Demi Fitzgerald / D i c k O Brien in the '68 and '69 Circuit. The Mini pic, D i c k thinks, might have been taken on Desmond's Grave - definitely on one of the ones north of Killarney. The Escort, one of the three Team Goldstripe cars, may have been taken up north somewhere. He's not sure of the photographer - thinks it may have been Esler Crawford. D i c k was 80 earlier on in the year, but still has an active participation in motoring events even clerking the Cork Veteran Run and hugely involved in the 75th Anniversary celebration of the Cork Grand Prix last year. Unfortunately, we lost Demi during 2014.

what ever became of that focus anyway ?
Haven't seen it since Seamus Heron last used it on the 2007 Donegal Harvest Rally, where he retired early on. He may still have it....

I'm sure someone on here knows it's current whereabouts but I wouldn't be holding my breath to get an answer though ;)

Edit: *Well, what do ye know, obviously I can now stop holding my breath then..... thanks to the post below*

S7 FMC is the ex Colin McRae Monte Carlo 99 Car

The car actually claimed McRae's first rally win Ford ( Also the focuses first victory) in Portugal that year

Last time I saw the car was in Donegal in either 07/08 with Seamu Herron

Car is sitting in a ford dealership in Derry the last I heard
