Rally Mexico Explained

Located high in the mountains just a few hours northwest of Mexico City, Rally Mexico is one of the most torturous rallies for the drivers and their cars, thanks to the altitude and rough road. It is by far the highest altitude rally on the calendar, with stages reaching as high as 14,000 feet, or just under 4,300 meters. At that altitude, the cars are starved for air and down on power by upwards of 30%.
