Park Systems Stages

Just back from the park systems stages and what an event for the 206 crews Mike out of the running now for 1st and with very little points between himself and britton!

Colin progress was slow to start off with due to a flat 1 mile from the finishe on ss1 and a possible bent wishbone as the car seemed to be pulling to the right,

Also a slight off on ss4 see's a new sill to be fritted "great"

Colin enter stage 5 in 4th position chasing for 3rd and when they saw mikes car off the road they realised they were now chasing for 2nd but murphy claimed 4 secs off colin in those two stages which left the final standing :_

1st Wigmore "hows the head"
2nd Murphy
3rdBritton

Ciara any champ positions yet????

Jonny's head was very sore by the sounds of it. Quite a hectic night on the drink apparently !!!

I did not know you were over there Ross. I was wondering why there was no talk about it on here when I came in last night.

The tables are as follows...

Wiggy 170 points
Mike 135 points
Mavitty 111 points
Colin 106 points
Murphy 100 points
Magee 94 points

But with dropped scores so far, Colin is in 3rd overall ahead of William as all drivers have scored a non-finish (zero points) on at least one round. William is the only driver who has finished all rounds so he has to drop 13 points so far... which will drop him to 98 points.

There was a serious amount of punctures over the six stages...

Barry J (x3)
Roger Duckworth (x1)
Steve Petch (x2)
Ryan (x3)
Steve Perez (x3)
Stephen Petch (x5)
Birdy (x1)

plus a host of other drivers picking up at least one puncture.

Drive of the day, Stu Jones !!! With the thought of getting the car to the finish in 1 piece and ready for Rally GB, he did very well to hold the lead in the Evos and finish 3rd overall.

Phillip had a cracker rally !!! Turbo problems on stage 2 dropped him back and a roll on stage 6 also caused a few heart stopping moments in the car I believe. The car arrived back at the finish ramp a little worse for wear but at least it landed on his wheels and kept he on going... taking 20 seconds out of Stu over an 18 mile stage in the process lol. What a star !!!

Very unlucky for Faulkner... he had it in the bag until 4 miles to go on the last stage. He is devastated.

Ciara, you're report writing is pretty good but yours maths ain't too hot!

Colin has 126 points not 106!, Willy has 109 by my reckoning but has scored on every round, Owen has 100, so correct me if I'm wrong but surely, if Colin drops his 18 points from the Manx it leaves us with a mathematical chance of taking 2nd place? But only if we scored 30 points and Mike scored 0 on the Bulldog. We also have to finish the Bulldog no less than 8 points behind Owen Murphy as he has a chance of taking 3rd. Also as far as I can work out neither Willy or Declan have a mathematical chance of taking 3rd?

I know I've contradicted quite a lot of your report in Pacenotes, but i like to set the record straight!!!
well cup car now gone so we wont be coming over, at least not for a while.... :(

Although im up for doing proper Irish event or two so let me know if yous hear of a seat!
Kenny,

Cheers for pointing out my errors on the forum.

My apologies

You have contradicted only a small bit of my report, as the majority of it is what happened on the rally itself, not the overall standings. That merely takes up the final paragraph.

As the championship tables have not been updated basically since Dave left, I was basing my figures on a spreadsheet that Dave himself sent me after Swansea Bay. Yes, I should have checked the figures, but I didn't. However I will in future.

If you have any other issues with my reports could you kindly PM me or email me.

Cheers.
