Should a new award be introduced for the most promising young driver regardless of future plans or budget! just an award for down right driving ability! maybe limit it to 1600cc or less? any one any ideas?

No I would still let Grp N cars in, but no World cars, and there needs to be some sort of driving/ general ability test- like the MSA rally Elite uses.

Aye that's true, it's the "poor working man, without two pennies to rub together" that's the true talent. God be good to these martyrs to the sport.

A drive off in Mondello would be worth a fuck really...........are we racers or big hairy brave rally men?

What can you learn in Mondello from a rally perspective?

just a thought, but why not make championship out of all the junior rallies we have in ireland. have at least 8 rounds, restrict to any 1600 be it modified,gp a,gp n or even s1600 for the rich boys. the winner of the championship gets 10 grand for their bother and all the top 5 could go for interview and some one of them would be awarded the billy coleman award. would make a very interesting championship and if a guy shows a lot of promise and has a bit of bad luck he/she are still in for a shot at the overall award
