Even though Pete Willoughby, Paul Britton Pat O Connell,Martin Cairns and John Reid didn't finish i still got a rating for them and all the other non-finishers.
As i've said before it's up to the competitors to push the organisers to use this system for seeding purposes.

1 Kenny McKinstry Kenny Hull 6 60.00
2 Owen Murphy Gary Nolan 8 59.51
3 John McCarthy M.J Morrissey 6 59.18
4 James Murphy Anthony Nestor 6 58.30
5 Trevor Harding Adrian Deasy 6 58.16
6 Stephen Moore Tony McHugh 8 57.58
7 Brian Lawlor Peter Kavanagh 8 57.15
8 Pat Norris Martin Brady 6 57.03
9 Brian McGillin David Doherty 8 56.86
10 Eamonn Mamnagh Kieran McAnespy 8 56.24
11 Brendan Murphy Pat Condon 8 56.06
12Damien Tourish Keith Bovaird 8 55.90
13Kevin O Kane Derek Brannigan 6 55.25
14Pete willoughby Greg McCarthy 8 55.20
15Paul Britton Cathal Lagan 6 55.15
16Sean Harvey Michael McElwee 8 55.16
17Pat O Connell Paul Manton 8 55.00
18Martin Cairns Andrew Donoghue 6 54.94
19Andrew Purcell Adrian Kiely 3 54.74
20John Reid Enda Shields 5 54.24

I don't wish to sound stupid or anything but can you explain how it works, especially that Kenny McKinstry & Kenny Hull got 6 60.00 2nd place Owen Murphy & Gary Nolan got 8 59.51 and 3rd John McCarthy & M.J Morrissey got 6 59.18, which is lower than Oen Murphy's. That would suggest that John McCarthy was faster than Owen Murphy, but Owen Murphy came second beating John McCarthy??

Should have mentioned that the first number after the names is the class. Class 6 GrpA ,Class 8 GrpN etc.
The MPH Rating is the 4 digit number after that. 60.00 for McKinstry, 59.51 for Murphy etc.

Frank Kelly's MPH rating was 51.20
Not great for Frank and Liam who are usually up around the 55-57 mark. although they did set 5th fastest time for 2nd last stage.

It's actually not that hard to do but it takes a bit of time.
A simple calculation involving distance and time and you have an MPH. Even if a competitor only gets through 1 or 2 stages i can calculate an MPH for them.

To be honest i was disapointed with the seeding for Carrick.
How the likes of Eddie Garry,Seamus O connell, Adrian Hederington to name but a few ended up so far down the seeded list is beyond me.
I have all the results of every competitor who has competed on the forestry rallies for the last 2 years.
It's there for the clubs to use and it's free.
It's up to the competitors to push the clubs to use it as it is a very fair system. And your not depending on one or two people who like to seed competitors because they recognise their name.
