Little rumor i herd just though antone herd this alos ?? would be interesting if its true diog deep in your wallets and expect a new 6 day event due to the time it ussuly takes to run a norm event
Yes the rumours are apparently true but there is supposed to be a new company set up to take charge of the COI made up of people from Meteor Electrical, Northern Ireland Events Company and a few senior members of Donegal Motor Club therefore thats why it has moved base and Danny Gormley is COC thats why Maiden City are involved.
i know john p has a very big say in it next year and has gathered up a very big prize fund for the event! could the circuit be back to what it was in the late 80's n early nineties hope so
Declan McCay has ran donegal for the past few years, done a super job, now that hes not COC for Donegal, maybe hes COC for da COI, and he has good links with both Donegal And Maiden City
I was taking to a marshal a few rallys back and he said that the AA where taking over and bringing it back to the way it use to be run like the rally nearly lasted a week.:dunno::idea:
THE MAIDEN CITY WOULD NEED TO SORT AND RUN THERE OWN EVENTS FIRST, BEFORE RUNNING AFTER OTHER PEOPLE MAYBE DANNY WOULD START
RUNNING THE MAIDEN CITY CLUBS EVENTS SORRY EVEN ONLY ONE EVENT DANNY.
Neil Malcolm is COC for the Circuit again this year. They probably will be an iternational and a national rally but it wont be part of the NI Championship ( No Easter Stages)
Yes Neil Malcolm is COC for the 06 Circuit, Declan McCay Deputy COC.It will not be 6 days long as reported but get the lamp pods on for the night stages.
There should also be a Superspecial stage as well.
