good to see Meeke getin a run in a WRC - I think if we are going to have a driver at the top of the WRC it will be him -sadly I think McShea's time has passed

Out in Finland whatever stage we were at, Meeke looked so much faster than everyone else. He seemed to be on a different line from everyone else too. Maybe thats why they all missed the telegraph pole.:laugh:

Will be interesting to see how Niall McShea will fare against Shaun Gallagher, If right was right he should be far quicker considering Niall is entered in a Subaru N11 while Shaun is supposidly sticking to his trusty old EVO VI. I for one reckon Shaun could spring a surprise.

Is it a taster for next year? An 'audition' with Subaru? If Subaru enter a third car in '06 then he might be a candidate?

Gallagher is a very talented driver but I think McShea will have a wee bit too much for him. Of course, thats if he turns up

Does not make sense to me why Rory is not in the Rally GB, I like David Higgins but to be honest he has been shown up by Rory this year. Shaun Gallagher, will not be on Niall's pace initially but he will be near the end highlighting what a talent he really is. This could be Kris's last chance saloon, he has to be quick out of the blocks plus he cannot afford to bin it. If he does well it is no guarantee for future employment, if he bins it he can kiss good bye to a potential good career. He has to go for it and hope lady luck is with him.

I believe Olsberg's have called a halt on the '05 activity and one of their S10's is scrap so I guess Meeke's in the other one.

On the subject of Meeke & McShea i have an idea! What about Team Ireland for 06! Meeke & McShea in Privately run Xsara's or 307's... Afterall they are still goin to back some privateers!
