Hi folks, just a reminder for the Down Rally 'o5.

3 new loose stages run twice with a centralised service area in Newcastle Co.Down, on sat 26th November.
Regulations are available from www.rathfrilandmotorclob.com.

Please note that the recce has now changed from 12th Nov. to friday 25th Nov to facilitate the end of forest service logging, so when you recce, the stage will be set up ready to go.

Don't forget that the event is being assesed for inclusion in the 2006 Pacenotes championship, so don't get left behind and come down and sample the stages before next year.

Any queries regarding the event please post them here and i will do my best to answer them.

All stage information will be available in the event programme, and i will post were they can be got before the event.

Central service in Newcastle at Central Park... Tullymore stage (used on Circuit of Ireland many moons ago ) finishes couple hundred metres from Service and two stages in Kilkeel area I'm told.

really looking forward to this event, often go for walks up Donard and the road down into Donard park has a couple of great hairpins, should be great viewing, anyone know which direction it is being run in?

Stage will finish at the bottom of the park just before the entry into the Donard Car park, an ideal spectator area if you don't want to hike into the forest.

Yep, 4 1/2 miles in Kilbroney and one other stage on private land.

95% loose with the 1/4 mile tarmac link between the 2 gravel sections in Kilbroney.

Bennetts are in, a few other WRC men confirmed but not yet received. A lot of guys holding of until they got through the rally of the glens. Entry currently stands at over 40 and filling up steadily. Some quick mk2 men from the south coming up to take on the locals on new stages.

It has been said that the 3rd stage (private land) will be in Mourne Park which is just outside kilkeel!

Entry is in and can't wait! Just have to get through Gullion first!

wrong rally lad gullion is this weekend (19th) n the down rally is next weekend(26th)
