Also I see in Flat thru the Mat that Mc Nulty is taking a new co driver who has been retired for 15 years?

Is this wise?

Surely the difference in speed between group N sierras and stuff that was out 15 years ago and then current WRC cars is massive.

He will be struggling with his pace in Galway for the first run of the Saturday stages, this co driver is brave to get in with a man as fast as Mc Nulty after being retired for 15 years!

you obviously never got a run in a group n sierra 15 years ago, there faster than any wrc out there today, they would do 150 mph, and i thought by way you talk all the time you knew something about rallying :p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p

Ok Im sorry, lets see Solberg win rallies in a Grp N Sierra rather than one of them S10s sure what use are they? Launch control, active diffs, 6 speed paddle change millions of euro in development.

Jason Lepley has an old Grp N ex Mc Rae car for sale, do a google search and get his web site- go buy it and then you can win the ITC in it?

A non restricted Grp N car may be quicker at the end of a 1km straight, but you forget that a world car can go round corners so so much faster, even a Corolla!

I take exception to being called a fool.

there is no way in the wide earthly world that a Grp N Sierra can be quicker than an S10 over a stage.

if you had of read the article right he said
"its the first time in 15 years that im back rallying. i was very happy to be retired from it he said but tim asked me to come back for the ulster rally and then cork and once you ve won silerware its like a drug"

Its his first time in 15 years rally FULL TIME in a championship he sat with Eamon in the RAC in 2001 and also in other european rallys in 2001 with eamon boland and it was nt in a goup N either!!! He also sat with tim on the jim clarke rally 2003 in the S7

A navigator has to adopted himself to the pace of the car and read accordly Anthony has sat with many top drivers in the past.
He maybe retired from full time ralling for 15 years but he was also navigating when the manta 400's etc was around not just the group n,s

He was rallying in Carrick forest 12 months ago?

Why would he say he is 15 year retired?

The man is no fool he can count and he knows himself Im sure that he has been rallying plenty in the last 15 yr? Where would Flat Mat get mixed up Im confused?

he means he was retired from full time rallying i.e ITC chapionship etc etc.

You know when a driver and co driver try to win the championship togther like
Andrew Nesbitt & James o Breien
Eugene Donnelly & Paul kiely
Austin Mc Hale & Brian Murphy
Dereck Mc & Dermott o Gorman
Kevin Lynch & Gordan Noble
Eamon Boland & Francis Regan
Gary Jenning & Rory Kenndy

Are you getting my drift here tropstorm or should I go on??

Anthony Nestor sat with James Murphy in WRC Escort Last year. They competed in Carrick, Mitchelstown, Munster, Cork & Birr forestry rallies. They didn’t have the most successful year with 11th overall on Munster been their best result. Hard to keep those WRC Escorts going!:)
