Lark In The Park!!!

Could not of picked a better day for this event warm and dry just what the competitors needed to get a good clean run and set some hot times,

So to dived the 2wd men into the categories I would say

(1) Rear Wheel Drive.
(2) Front wheel Drive 1300-1400
(3) Front wheel Drive 1600

(1) As always Paul Barret gave a magnificent performance what a crowd pleaser some very handy drive even though the back end of his car sat out a few times he set some brill times, kept the crowd happy on the shootout last corner before square left into time keeping with a donut, That man can steer!!!:)

Paul ward set some scorching times in his mk2 a opposite man to Paul by keeping his tail firmly behind him another man many wouldn’t like to have seeded behind them lol is his doing the Dogleap I no is Barret is im standing well clear of the road lol
:)
A Mc Loone Gabriel O Leary went very well in there very tidy Chevet pleasing the fans and setting some good times also well done!!:)

J Dolan John K Mc Cay in their sunbeam was very good to watch me being a sunbeam fan
:laugh::laugh::laugh:

(2) One man stood out from the crowd in this category was W Mc Fadden Patrick Mc Fadden the Swift Powered Corsa set some good time even though a unplanned engine change had accorded a few days before keep her lit:laugh::):):):):)

B Gamble Andy Gamble could not make the event :dunno:

Young D Gass in his saxo was doing well in this event is it true it is his first event?? Well done

Two local retirements around my area Roger Laird had clutch problems but a good run on ss1 showed him that the car was handeling great!

David Craig suffered a blown engine also,

Was told bob riddels was going well in the hired mk2!!l,

The lakeland stages are aprocahing fast and will prove a hard battle for Mr Lynch due to Donnely And Allen also attending this event!

But back to the wee peeps

LOL due to no entry list i cant say a pile lol David young and the father will be attending the event hope all goes well lad!!(Think your fathers the driver LOL)

Any other 2wd men on this site attending who would like to say a word or two!!
Agin no one interested in the weee men, ive no info on the lakelands but hopefully use will have some on bushwacker will take a look though the entry now and make my decission!!!
in the lakeland frank kelly was top 2wd on ss1, was a second up on barrett and andy magee a mile into stage 2, but was hit with mechanical trouble 4 mile into the stage and had to retire. andy magee and paul barrett were battling it out but both fell by the wayside with gremilns of their own, which played into the hands of alistair cochrane, a steady run keeping her straight he took the spoils in 2wd
