I bought a pre-owned car recently and I’m trying to figure out what portion of its factory warranty is still valid. The dealer mentioned it had 5 years of powertrain coverage, but I can’t find any proof.

Is there a reliable way to see exactly what warranty coverage came with the car from new, including expiration dates and what’s transferable? I’d like to avoid calling multiple dealerships if possible.

Also, do optional packages appear anywhere in official vehicle records? I’m hoping someone here has already looked into this for their own vehicle.
