manx national

Manx National is in May, last few years has statrted on Friday night with a few stages, and a good long day on Saturday.
Part of the British National Championship, and allows non-homologated cars.
Island is like Ireland with plenty of access roads etc

The RBSI Manx National Rally takes place this year on the 5th and 6th of May.

Friday usually has about 6 stages most are held in the dark with a good number of stages (10-12) on the Saturday followed by the infamous after rally party!

More infomation can be found at www.manxrally.org but the site is under going maintance.

It is viewed by many competitors and spectators to be better than the International that is held in August.

You will get maps etc at the sign on office at the back of the TT Grandstand, service is normally held there too, its a very easy event to get around and very little walking once you have parked the car at the stages. I might go over again this year if the funds allow as its a great event.

Excellent event, some of the best rallying you will see all year.
The 2 local heros Shaun Fox in a Corsa and Rob Watson in a Nova or Evo, make great watching, easy got around, always makes my top 5 events of the year
