Looks like Chris Patterson is on for a 2nd in PWRC tomorrow. Why are Irish co-drivers some of the best in the world?

I read years ago in a rally magazine (it was something to do with Fred Gallagher/Terry Harryman/Bobby Willis all co-driving at the highest level at the same time) that the Northern Irish accent is one of the most finetically perfect accents in the english speaking world!! Really, I remember some english professor or something stating in the article that to a person who does not speak english as a first language but as a second, he would be able to understand the northern accent the best as the words are pronounced literally when spoken well!! Could be a load of pineapple but I definitely read that!!I'm away to trawl through 100s of really old Carsports/Autosports and Motoring News' now to see if I can find it!!
