The Marshell day was a great sucess all of the top boys were their in their cars which was a great reward for the marshells who where out all over the year in hail rain or snow and sun.

Fare play to them all it was very enjoyable day for all.
It was very well run.

i was a bit too busy helping out and strapping people in, then got a few offers to go around the track in the afternoon so the camera stayed in the boot of the car. I do have a video on the fone of my spin with Gareth MacHale only thing is I dont know how to convert it to mpg to put online.

the marshals day was good but i dont think it gave the marshals the rite respect. we lined up with three tickets 1 for each class and got into cars that had to pay to get on the track to start with. we travelled down ok we had some fun but they need think of a way of thanking the marshals more than 3 laps around a track. i love marshalling and im out there as some craic but i would have rather been out there marshalling at a rally instead of goin around a track. its only my opion but its true!!!:caution:

What the fuck are you on about!!

What else is being done to reward Marshalls? How else can you do it?

Do you think drivers put enough in by letting you into their cars and entertaining you!

Fuel and tyres for the day cost money, the hire of mondello for the day cost money (9 Grand I heard) Insurance cost money, People gave their time to strap marshals in etc etc

You shouldnt have bothered your arse coming down to it, someone more deserving and appreciative should have came-

I hope you are not invited next year.

What do you suggest as a payback chefguy, I chatted to a number of people on the day who were gobsmacked that all those drivers turned up to bring the marshals around the track, all at expense to the drivers.
