Final round see's George Tracey & Dermot Carnegie battling for the crown with Dermot having a slight edge on the points front. Last round winner John McCluskey will be joined on the grid by his car preparation man Joe Murray who will be driving George's Peugeot 306 Supercar. Should be a great final round, heats commence at 10am, Finals from 3pm.

Hopefully George can beat Mr Carnegie to the post :)

Me at the wheel??

You bringing up Wexford again??

George will be in his Metro 6R4.. Come down for the crack, will be a great day. 8 Supercars entered..should be fireworks!
why is he in the 6r4
I think 03dubwrc is getting the 307 for the day, if George's spannerman can have the 306, why can't JMC's have the 307??

Why 6R4

New engine in the Metro so George feels its the best tool for the job. Great to be able to choose from a stable eh?

Here we go now with all the begrudgers comments.
Spannerman

Joe Murray isnt Georges spannerman.. Ali Burrows will love you for that one Seamo!
Okay, think I'll quit while I'm not too far behind!!

a bit strange for him to be trying a new engine on the final round.

he must be using the 307 himself
Its very simple when you know the backround, the 306 has a locked centre diff, which is great in the dry but a pig in the wet as it pushes the front of the car on in the corners whereas the Metro is great in the corners when its wet so if George is to be in with a chance of the title then the 6R4 is the car to use on Sunday. He has proven before that the Metro is up to the job of keeping the Supercars behind him
Ali's boys would have been busy since the last event with repairing the 306 gearbox and bodywork and putting the engine into the Metro.
I cant wait, just hope the weather is reasonable enough to stand out in
307 wont see daylight as a fully running car until next year
peter when is it ever warm enough to stand out in mondello that place would freeze the balls off a brass monkey:p:p:p:p
