Well tis time to make the sambos and get the tae on-I'm on de road again and this time its a big trip to Skibbereen. An over nighter-what an adventure. The last big event of the year, twill be a long winter-may have to venture out to the trees in Co Down in November just to geha wiff of clutches and Shell racing fuel. Yabba Dabba Doo.
I'd stand bollock naked on the gap in december in the pissin rain to watch Keenan, Donegan, O' Neill and the likes on the limit thru at 10/10 th's! Stuff the cot!
I done it last yr and we had two days recce for one day rallying. I was pure wrecked from the recce alone, I had to bale out around 2 o clock! But as the man says, that's a post for another time. Navigated in Skib in 2003 on my 1st trip down there and soon realised what everyone was talking abut, cracking stages and some wknd down there. It's nearly easier to get to the stages than get to a bar!
Great rally-lots of action-fantastic stages with lots ot time between them so you get to them all-I missed the start and saw 2, 3 4 5 6 7 and then left for home-Great day-just home-wrecked
