A huge well done to Colin and Kirsty !!! I believe the conditions were VERY tricky in places and judging by some of the photos, it was more like Sweden in some stages...

The top end of the leaderboard was certainly interesting throughout the day with Johnson and Dodd trading places on several occasions.

Tim Pearcey drove a fantastic rally until his problems, up to third overall at one point in a GpN Lancer !!!

Between the National A & B rallies, stage 4 "Buck fell" claimed 19 cars on its first run through

Thanks Ciara,

Could have been a lot better if we had narrow rims to put snow tyres on. We had to do the whole rally on open pattern gravel tyres (not the job). The lads distroyed us on the snow stages.

Anyway your right 1st finish in 3 years of trying so shouldn't complain. You were missed at the time controls with your pen at the ready, always enjoy hav'n a yarn with you.

I was speaking to Val and Dilys and they said that you had asked where I was. Val was virtual Ciara for the weekend LOL. She did a brilliant job getting the info for the report for me :)

I was gutted I had to miss the rally but work pays the bills and I was in on Friday and Sunday on OT. Urgent orders that needed to be shipped.

Twix, I would have loved the snow if we had've brought the snow wheels. On gravel tyres you might as well be on slicks. It was good fun though.
