hey guys im wondering if any off use can help me out?
i run into the back of a car in dublin this morning in my fathers jeep i was taking ladders from one job to another for him as he is on holidays. im not insured to drive the jeep..
there is no damage to the jeep because the bull bar took the impact, but the other car has damage to the rear bumper tailgate and the rear passenger side quarter pannell.
the lady that was driving the other car was un injured. we pulled off the main rd and drive about a mile up the rd to a car park were we got out to look at the damage.
i said to her i would prefer this not to go through insurance and that i would pay to fix it. she agreed.
the police were not called to scene and the accident was not reported. we swapped telephone numbers i dnt know if she took done my reg. she said she wud contact me with a quote within the next few days.
i have no bother payin for the fixing of her car. but what im wondering is if she decides to change her mind can she goto the garda's and claim through her insurance now after leaving the scene of the accident?
