What a days rallying, great stages great conditions but what a battle, great at endorsement for forestry rallying, pitty Gary slid off,Magarrity does get some slack about here, but he showed there's life left in the old dog yet.
just special mention of Frank Kelly hese some brother in the woods, mental!!
drive of the day must be this pair Dean Rafferty / Aileen Kelly staying with class 5 men all day. well done to glen irwin 2nd class 3 driving without notes. good win for alan smith in class 4.
We sure were lucky to get away with that off at the end of your clip there i could'n believe that there was'n a whell pulled of it when we got back on the road
Great day and a great rally loved the stage (ss5) Frank Kelly in the woods... haha great fun to watch!
Few wee things one being on our way to stage finish finding a few cars in the ditches (never a good thing! lucky everyone is ok!)
but then to have the second one off the road and to findout that no one came to check on em, not good one thin,we always make sure and see to the drivers and cars to make sure all is ok, but when the driver turns and says no one came near them but had marshals in walking distance.. hmm interesting one that! Other than that having a few awkward spectators resulting in 00 cars having to be stopped which once they seen we ain't messing and it's for their safety...
Other than that great day! and a great feed after!
cant beat a good forest stage!
Huge thanks to Maximum Attack Marshals for their assistance in recovering car from the ditch in the last stage...thankfully myself and navigator got out of overturned car relatively unscathed.
We didn't do too bad for a bunch of pricks in orange bibs who let a bit of power go to our heads.
Glad you both were OK, a little disappointed you weren't sorted sooner, but that's the way things work out sometimes. And the low box in the Trooper fair helps too.
from what i heard the crew were in view of marshals and were seen out of the car and on their feet, the event safety officer was aware of the situation from the incident happened. drop Lewis an email through the club website if you have any issues.
Dont think its been on yet, does anyone know its due to shown
Thanks
Sean
