a mate of mine wont like to hear you offering that advice.while marshalling he spent most of the thursday night chasing badly parked campers the stage comander reckoned if he got his was there would be no campers let in to park on the stages in 09

i have been at this rallying lark for a long time now, my first international was the manx 1977,in 2007 there was a web site with contacts, we stayed on the stage in a farmers yard made tea and sandwitches for the marshels, i am looking for somewhere similar this year on the cavan stage

Camper vans-Jez spectating is a very comfi affair these days-I stayed in the back of my Golf in 2007 and was cozy enough. Even got invited in for breakfast by the guy whose house I parked outside of too. Now that was Sligo in fairness-

I was up on Arigna overnight. cant forget the smell of boxte on the frying pan in the back of the works van at 8 in the morning. Had a portable tv hooked up too. Could i sleep..........no. The buzz was electric up there.
Best one was the group of scottish fellas searching for wood to build a camp fire at 2 in the morning. Fire works galore and the lad continually revving his engine for 3 hours. Lucky he got out alive id say.

Anyone who get's out of Arigna alive is a lucky person!!

Debreeze, the best spot you could park up is Glangevlin village. The Glan Bar is some spot if you are into old fashioned retro pub. Watch out for one of the pubs best customers, Tom Cannon in the 87 Jetta. Better than watchin any C4 or Ford!!
