Just wondering, is anyone playing the latest version of RSRBR? I've recently converted to RBR and RSRBR, after wondering what it was all about and I've realised I should have made the switch years ago. It's a great game. Still finding my way and getting to grips with it all, especially the online side of things.

Does anyone compete in the Irish Tarmac Championship that rallysim run? Also, does anyone run rallies or a championship for RallyForums.com members?

Also, there are some cracking Irish skins kicking. Using some of these at the moment:

Ive been using rsrbr for about 6 years now. Still the best out there for realism. I competed in the first round of the ITC but although I set a couple of 2nd fastest times, I destroyed the car on final stage of first day and retired from the rally, lol. Its very easy to set up rallies, if we can arrange to get people from the forum who is using it to join in.

You can enter any rally championship. you need to pick your car for each championship in your garage. Only downside is if your not an official team or seeded or whatever you will be using older wrc cars like the focus and not latest spec. Only the great seem to be allowed these. But no matter, its still good, but the standard is really high at the top. Ive managed a few fatest times, but im happy if i get top 10-20 times on the wrc rallies etc. You can also set up individual rallies, non championship. Not sure about the skins, ive never tried to do a skin from scratch, i usually just modify them in photoshop if i fancy a mess about.

Thanks again. I wasn't aware of the car restrictions. Another decent reason to have a RallyForums league or whatever, for the craic.

I've downloaded skins for the Delta and M3, just cant get them to work. Highly annoying. Just keeps bringing up the default skin.

Sarah, getting the wheel right is a fine art which i still havent mastered after years. Im pretty much just plugged in, with a few tweaks to rotation and spring effects etc. Google rbr g27 set ups and follow some others help tips and set ups to see if you can gain a better feel that way. thats all i do and am still doing it, lol. If your new to the game, because of the realism, it will take a bit of getting used to. Post your settings from your logitec controller for the wheel and i will see if anything stands out as a potential problem.

I just found that it was impossible to control the car even with the slighest movement of the steering wheel. Everything just seemed far too sensitive and not realistic at all but maybe im too used to PS3 games being not realistic and too easy to play. I'll try adjust the settings and give it another go. I've set up a sequential on it too so i want to get it right cause it looks like a class game when its all done right.

Hello, Can anybody recommend a good way to download the rsrbr 2014 track pack?
Each time i've downloaded the 6 files I get a file corrupted error half way through installing. I'm new to this so could be doing it wrong allthough everything else installed fine. It's a bit frustrating having everything except the tracks so i'm limited to the standard RBR for now.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

They should all add up to 4gb in size. if you still have the ones that didnt work for you, check the overall size of the combined files, below 4 gb and you are probably missing a full file somewhere along the lines. Delete the ones you already have and get the ones above.
Download all 6 files to the same place, ie desktop or the same "new folder" etc, then once you have them all, double click only on the one called Install_Pack_Tracks_v2014.exe. You dont do anything with the other files as long as they are all downloaded to the same place to start with.

Hope that works, let me know how you get on. :wine:

Ahh. I use avg and it all went ok for me today. TBH, i dont really like the feel of the ngp cars. some are ok along with the fact you can use the handbrake now on rwd, but the 4wd cars feel rubbish in them from this latest update. ds3 wrc isnt as fast in ngp, just feels a bit odd. maybe it takes a bit of playing with it to get use to it but i took the m3 out on finland and it was still spinning off the line in 3rd n 4th !!
