IRC round 2 visits Gran Canaria this weekend. As in the Azores depth of entry is poor but it should be an exciting battle between the factory Fabias on the asphalt stages. Andreas Mikkelsen will have Jan Kopecky rather than Juho Hanninen as his main opponent and the Czech's ability on sealed surfaces could well see the Norwegian's recent string of victories come to an end. Despite this Mikkelsen has upped his game on all surfaces and Kepecky will certainly not have things all his own way.
Weigand and Grassner Jr will also start. Other than these 4 the majority of entrants are from the Spanish championship series. Of these Hevia should be the strongest.
