How does this work, you get the form of msi and then you send it on to ur insurans co. and do you give it in on the day of the event or when you enter?? Thanks in advance!

when you send in your licence application you fill in the irds proposal form, when your licence comes out you have a cover note to show at sign on at events, very easy an hassle free
you get the form from MSI, fill it out and then
return it to MSI. You are then registered with
the insurance company MSI use to insure you
when you compete on an event. When you pay
your rally entry fee a part of this is used to pay
this company for your cover during the event.
or at least thats my understanding of it.
Got my licence today and no sign of a cover note or is it just part of the actual licence itself??

its usally a separate piece of paper, did you fill in the irds proposal form when you applied,as far as i know think the licences are newer type is that so small credit card idea.
Ya there like credit cards alright, ya i filled it out and sent it to them with the licence application.
The IRDS is seperate and you`ll probably recieve it a few days after your licence... I got mine about a week or 10 days after my renewed licence arrived.

IRDS letter is still seperate to the licence. Give MSI a ring and make sure that they have recieved your proposal and sent it away to be processed by the insurance company.
