johny milners car is tidy, i dont see the yellow rossi monza corolla there "kam 261"

Sorry Jon I dio not think you are correct, he did not get the car until 2000, the stonethrowers may well have been first event but it was not until much later in the month after the ALMC that they sussed the number plate mistake.

The number plate mistake was sussed late in 1999, as I went to Micks place over the christmas 1999 and he was working on the car. I seen the different number, I thought they had a new car and I was informed of the mistake.
The car did very little rallying in 1999, and the diff gave trouble after the conversion. The car only had one real bad accident, not Donegal but the Pirelli with Gareth, that was a big stop. Still my all time favourite rally car, they were a super little car,they really looked the part, and with the lower splitter on really looked the business.

Yep your right about the wee corolla looked the part sounded the part and as donnelly showed a very compeditive car on the IRTC it showed a lot of the latest subarus and fords a clean pair of heels,and i think it was made to rally on irish roads.
