I am trying to locate the Corrys Cultras that were built in the North in the mid eighties. I know one was for sale around 2000, but where it went I do not know. If anyone knows where there is one, have heard of them PM me.

Here's a bit I wrote in an article in 2003 for Pacenotes, it appeared then that Corry himself still had two cars. I had a number for him somewhere, not sure If I could find it easily though.

Then three years ago at the Millennium Motorsport Festival, there were two Cultras being driven up Stormonts famous hill, one by Stanley Orr and the other by Will Corry himself.

So, twenty years down the line since the first Cultra was produced, Will Corry still has two of the cars, one an ex-competition car, and the other, the very first original prototype car. He has many fond memories of the car and believes that some design aspects which the Cultra debuted, such as the high rear wing, have been seen on future sports cars built since it. He also believes it set a milestone for sports car design “It was really ahead of its time”.

Mr Corry is a very elusive man, he bought back one of the cars and some moulds in around 2000. Are there any pics on your website?
He is right, the potential was there and it had some great design features like the access to the engine at the back ala RS200.

Interesting discussion, gentlemen,

FYI I have a Corry Cultra (the car which Stanley Orr amongst others drove at the Stormont hillclimb in 2000 - the car went through Mr. Corry's hands en route to me in fact).

Note the "2" cars Will Corry have are an unregistered road car which was apparently spirited out of the factory before liquidation and then hidden from the receivers while in fact the second car "Sara" (short for "Saracen" as in the armed car) is in fact the written off tub of the car that is now mine.

I am happy to chat about the whole Cultra project with anybody - although I might add I am not the elusive Mr Corry!
