C2R2 ...
Does anyone on here have one..? Are they all they are cracked up to be... (Reliability/Speed) ....?
What class do they run in...?
Is there any chance of a one make champoinship being setup...?
Would one of these be better than say an EP3 civic..? (if you put build costs and 1.6 v 2.0 aside )
How easy would they be to sell once bored with it...?
Just thinking aloud and looking for opinions...

Total motorsport solutions started the championship in the uk but they have gone bust now don't know what is happening the championship. They are Class A6. Can't see a championship happening for them here at the moment espically with the number of super 1600's around. I'd say it is more likely that class 6 will be split into s1600 and kit cars and then the rest in another class which would include C2R2. Was talking to a few lads in Galway international and they were saying that the C2R2s are supposed to be putting out 175-185bhp but that a few people got the tested and they all fell short of it. Also the problem with the C2R2s is that they have a sealed ecu therefore not mappable. This is ok if there is a one make championship for them otherwise it means a new management system if you want more out of it. As for reliability and speed I don't really know. Paul Manton has one and he would be no slouch in it puts in some good times. Not sure on the price as far as I knoe there are around the 40 - 50k euro mark but that is really a guess.

I dont know a lot about the C2R2's but I cant speak highly enough of the EP3 Civic.
197bhp from a standard engine with up to 240 readily available.
Can be a bit giddy on the back even with Proflex but I have to say overall I have been really impressed with the one I'm navigating in this year so far. Best FWD car I've ever sat in.
Will be no problem selling one on either, and you also have the option of putting on bigger brakes and running in Class 7 (Both Class 7 and Class 3 in Killarney won by EP3 Civics)
