No rubes, black beauty was the car he drove in 1982, the year after he won the drivers world championship........

I always assumed the Zakspeed car was Black Beauty and the RED car was generally referred to as the Monte car or Monte arched car.
Mikkola had the Zakspeed car in Aughavanagh.

I thought Vatenen did Aughavanna in Black beauty. I am am convinced the Zakspeed car was black beauty-because it was a beauty too.

As I understood it at the time. Black beauty was the Zakspeed arched car and "Black Magic" was the ordinary arched tarmac special.
