I have that on video tape somewhere-brillinat footage-one scene has Austin giving a G3 escort a punt up the *** cos it is in his way and will not pull over. And a sheep runs across in front of the car in another scene-F....ing sheep is what you can hear Austin saying on the intecom

Now thats action, the slide of James Cullen (i think) in the escort at the start was just magic.

The 35 years tape, as far as I'm aware, is an updated extension of the original 25th anniversary tape, released in 1996 (coincidentally on the event's 25th anniversary!). I've got the 25th one on VHS - it's bloody brilliant! Bout four hours of footage.

Can't recall the G3-shunting incident, Ruby. What year was that. do you know? I remember the sheep though - Breenagh stage (I think), onboard with Austin in the Sierra.

Would anybody be able to upload the 1990 event, if they happened to have it lying about? I've very fond memories of being very young and being awestruck, (if not a little frightened as well!), by the beautiful black XtraVision M3. I had it on tape myself for a while, but at some point over the years I taped over it. Which is a shame!

I'm sure you can feed it straight onto your hard disc from the VCR with the right leads and sofeware.
Far easier if you have access to a DVD R, onto disc and then straight onto your computer.

If you want, and if you trust me, stick it in the post and I'll put it on DVD for you and post it back. Or some other member in your area may do it for you.-
