McKibbins dark rum is rather tasty! :rolleyes: Ages since I had any, though.

It actually has an almost whiskey-like taste to it, and is quite dry. It's also quite nice! :D

Small update on this shoot folks, the main reason I shot these cars was for a large format print. The print is approximately 10ft x 4ft and is made up of a number of images stitched together to allow perfect quality when printed at this scale.

I am more than happy with the final outcome and I hope that the owner will be too (he hasn't seen it yet).

Here is my take on the action at Ulster Drift Championship Round 3; Bare in mind this is my first ever attempt at moving picture capture and also a rough attempt at editing into a wee clip with aged effect. Note at 19sec into the clip, that's an engine that has reached it's expiry date and that flame is internal parts bursting into daylight :(

Well SiEddie from RMS has been after a shoot of his Megané for some time now and we booked in a date a while back, coming up to the date neither of us were sure if the shoot would roll, but I drove over an hour to get there and when arrived was presented with this lovely picturesque scene, it was -8.5 Celsius and we didn't hang about for too long but fair play to the man for managing to have the car cleaned for the shoot...

This is a shoot I done for a fellow photographer after he had just got a huge amount of work done on the bike, which you can clearly see involved a lot of Carbon Fibre.

The shoot was done in Philip McCallens workshop and a huge thanks must go to Philip and all the staff at McCallens cycles for giving me an hour of their busy Saturday in the workshop to shoot this masterpiece.

UDC Competitor Chris Burnett has just completed a rebuild and tidy up of his S13, with a lot of new parts being added. He asked me if I could do a shoot of the car on a test day before it started to get battle scars so here goes.

I got exclusive access to this Jeep ages ago but been waiting for all the print media to run it before I put it on-line. This print media is nearly all published now so here goes.

This is possibly the only Lumma X6 in Ireland (note the possibly) and lives up the North West of the country. It's a marmite thing for some I am sure of that, but I think it's absolutely awesome.

Thanks to a fellow photographer from up that part for getting me to shoot it (he said he couldn't do it as much justice) and also the owners of the quarry for letting us in during the big freeze a few months back to capture what I feel is my best shoot to date.

Thanks also to RenoLV as without him I'd have struggled with lighting, in the end I think it was 5 strobes scattered about to get the desired effects.

lol philip, I tend to arrive, mingle in the paddock a while with drivers, do my work then slip away, don't enjoy full day of snapping one event anymore so I tend to chat more than I snap for the time I'm at the place if I'm honest lol

As I drove out two snappers waved, think is may have been warren, I was in an astra estate LJZ 80 which you may well have seen about events.

I can't say I was using a fence as a hammock at all my friend, I done the bottom bends for a while then stood at the fench on way out for 10 mins just.

Davy is a seriously tidy driver as are both his sons, was great seeing richard out for the first time in a good few years alos :)

'Ships that pass in the night'! It was a good day out, with great variety of macninery. Nutts Corner is one of my favourite circuits with it's camber and elevation changes, as well as some great corners....oh, and it's just up the road from me! :D There has been a large investment in the circuit recently, with the track re-surfaced and a new infield section added. I think this is mainly for the carts, but I would love to see it used for the rally time-trials! :)

Yeah the new parts are great, seen the karts using the new bits and it was great to see.

I have been going to nutts for about 8 years nowwith the drift mates who used it in the early days for practice but then it was shut down to most people due to noise levels so it's fantastic that's it's open again :)

I see a Lotus managed to sneak in. Quite fitting actually, as Mazda used the Elan as a blueprint when designing the original MX-5.

I now own a 1991 JDM Mazda MX-5 1.6.16v with LSD, serious craic and will be on the tests and lanes and the odd hill in her next season :D

This thing is an absolute animal, in around 500bhp with stupid torque and would pull a steam locomotive up a big hill, 3rd gear on a straight road is somewhat interesting on boost ;)
