go to www.rallynews.net and hit the link to pattersons notes :detective: get him to make up notes for pretend stages around his road and get someone to practise with him. try to get as twisty roads as possible so as to keep the notes coming without haveing to drive at high speeds ;););)
:moo::moo:
notes are easy.... 1R means 1 right...
1L means 1 left...
HPR means hair pin right
its all at the first page of the notes..
i worred more over the time card on my first rally naving...
Go through the notes and highlight the dangerous or slow corners. If you are using 6 slowest then highlight all the 5's and 6's. Likewise if you are using 1 slowest then highlight all the 1's and 2's. Do this on the recce. Some people read notes like they were reading the paper - your driver needs to be warned of danger ahead and that is your job. Highlighting the dangers will help you as well. Enjoy the spin.
a small one that helps is shouting repeat before you say a note again... they might think theres 3 corners ahead at 6R :laugh:
and shout at him when theres danger ahead... aent that right james :laugh::clap:
Anthony - I found out many years ago that whispering didn't work

There's usually a load of needless stuff in Patt's notes.... bin out all the **** on the recce..and as James said earlier mark-up the bad spots ....
ps: on both Gullion and Camlough stages ..watchout for the "D.C's" (Dont Cut) ..cuz there are big hidden rocks .........
.....keep the head down and read the road thru yer a*se.. enjoy ;)

Will do lad you heading up to Turkey Runn last year was mental cold hi I had to turn every 2 minutes as the wind and slete was brutal LOL
Pattersons notes are made on the safe side as everyone from Eugene Donnelly down to Yotommo in the diesel fabia uses them so whats flat in the corolla could be a nightmare in the fabia.Remember what you are driving and only change to suit car/driver capabilities but you wont go far wrong if you are cautious where it says caution in the notes
