This is from a round of the French tarmac championship last weekend. It's a bit long and does get boring but the first few minutes show that French rally fan s are loopers and like having fun. Unlikely to happen on Knockalla or the Gap but would certainly pass the time. On a more serious note spectators are standing all over the place and cars parked on the stage isn't too sensible. Oh, and there's few cars, mostly WRC and S1600s.

christ id hate to drive that stage with all them people all over the place... remember solburg this year in the monti.. he lost his brakes into a hairpin like that at 100mph almost hit about 20 people... if that was irish rallying there would be about 30 marshels there...

Nah, waaay too fast and the bodywork was a lot neater than Ross's Corsa would ever be.

Bloody brilliant crack
I can imagine it beats standing 200 yds up a field up to yer knees sh 1te and what about the boy near the end runnin down the road after the 106 There's not enough nudity in rallying these days

speaking of marshalls i was at a rally last weekend and the arsehol3 marshal told me to get behind the tape 45 minutes before the stage was due to start What a ******

Forgot about the streaker. Can you imagine being the driver of the 106 and suddenly glancing to the left and being greeted with that! They certainly have a passion for rallying over there, even on a freezing November day up a mountain.
