"A tremendous on board DVD with two hours of footage from the Donegal International Rally 2006 with Colin Mcrae and Nicky Grist in there awesome Metro 6R4. With up to four different camera locations you get a great perspective of what the crew are going through on some of the best stages in Irish rallying, all compiled to make this the best on board footage ever produced. There is also a couple of scary moments all captured on the DVD which makes this a must have item for all rally fans."

17 quid sterling for postage to the south is a hell of alot. What is UPS postage anyway? I see its 8 quid if ye wanna send it that way to the north.

Seems excessive. UPS? Same as Fedex, TNT etc. Document and parcel courier service.

I ordered the DVD! It is expensive but I've been working so what the hell....anyway when is rallying cheap? Its an expensive sport for competitors and fans.....look at the price of clothes.....anyway Marcus Gronholms shop does postage for €35!!! I will try to justify it by saying its nearly 2 hours long and its signed by Nicky....dont know bout Colin.....plus there are 4 different camera angles on the Metro....

Its expensive......a bit like everything in Ireland!

This dvd slightly disappoints as follows
Too short – I hour 15 minutes of content with only one stage shown from Friday.
Did not like the camera angles used, I am a traditionalist and I like the camera to be between the crew looking forward so that I can see the steering input etc. Only one stage shown with the camera in this position. (Saying that the metro may not easily facilitate this with a Perspex screen in the way) The main camera used was looking forward where the rear view mirror is normally positioned, with cutaways looking towards the driver.
Comments from Nicky Grist – they seemed scripted / commercialised.
Menu only gives 4 options – Intro, Day 1, Day 2, Day 3.

Overall not as good as the dvd of the Mk II in car from Killarney.

Otherwise I cannot fault it, you can sense the speed and difficulty of the Metro, and if it was a dvd of McRae pushing a wheelbarrow I probably would still have bought it.
