Ive just finished my rear axel recon calipers new discs and pads bearing ect ect damper fitted and springs but if notised on the driver side a serious flaw in my idea of fitting the VW calipers they will colide with the Fuel sulply pipe from the filler cap to the tank!
ANyone with brembo or calivler rear calipers on a corsa b 1993-2000 have this problem if so what did they do to solve it??????????:surrender:

Fav Wrc:- I have my calipers on the rear of the axel ! But she is prity low when it hits as i have no springs in I, But still Id say over jump she would compress low enought to hit the pipe!
Dougal:- I was think on that but isnt there some sort of regulation where you have to make a firewall between that pipe and you would seem alot of bother to make a housing for it!:focus:

ask on british rally ross the will know there i though i saw a thread about that before
why have you no springs in the car i was told by a few people to run std springs as the competition ones are too hard.

Hum funny you should say that cause i also herd the corsa was to twitchy and hairy over jumps with the harder competition springs but would the competition dampers in the rear stop the body roll on there own our would you need hard springs also ?

might be a problem if your running 15's ross
and as for the springs i was told by 2 fairly tuned in people that the competition springs were a no no so the dampers should be good enuff on there own.

Lovely Jubley lol STD springs it is then im gettin aeroquip brake pipe and fuel pipe and fittingsd from ken henderson shortly as well once engine is fitted not really alot of work left to do like, Linkage is a pain at the minute like Ive gone for a straight through linkage using hardened steel rods and knuckel<sp through bulk head and the wee tunnel ! :box:
