I disagree with getting loans out to rally its not rite!!!! if you can't afford it don't do it, its similar to taking a loan out to go on the tear

Jesus the lad is only looking to find out where to start, Do ye have to be so........i don't know.

Dave, have a look at :
http://www.motorsportireland.com/index.cfm/loc/7-6.htm

Theres a bit of info there. The next step is to join a motorclub, but IMO, unless there's one in your immediate area, it may be debatable if it's worth your while (unless you intend competing or want to get in on the admin side of things) - I never joined a club as (i) i don't compete and (ii) i live on opposite sides of the country on alternate days, and couldn't commit myself, but I get a lot of info on the forum here and on www.rally.ie. - the biggest fault with rallying is that all information is online, rather than in the press and media

If you intend competing, you should join a club and spend a few days out marshalling to get to understand the in's and out's.

And the biggest rule of all....learn how to play 'spot the dikhed' and run!
