Leo Daly
25-08-2011, 16:13
Hi,the names Leo Daly and I I like to think of myself as a bit of a photographer. I'm not a pro, nor do i want to be, I like to keep my photography as a hobby and not as work. I don't want it to become a job, that would just suck the fun out of it, although... I'm not averse to selling an odd one! I just like taking them, but there's no point if no one sees them. To that end, I went in search of where you guys hang out on the web and that's why I'm here, to share.

I love motorsport photography and up till now, I've done mainly motocross and enduro bikes, but I'd like to spread my wings and do all sorts. I was at the autocross in Shinrone last Sunday and got a few pics (I'll be posting some of them shortly). Have to say, I'll definately be going to more autocross and rallys in future. Also be spending some time on here.

Anyway, that's it for now.

Leo.

Hi to all
My name is Nick Setchfield, age wrong side of 50, based near York in UK.
TE71 GT Historic rally car. Making my return to rallying after a 26 year break (Escort twin cam in those days). Did 1st event in Sept this year (single venue)...used some ancient tyres of an ex race car. Did OK ish, felt like I was driving like hell but the video looks pedestrian ! Tyres didn't help. Managed to clip a bale and bent front offside wing...all sorted now.
Need a lot more time in the car which I intend to do this year (2012).
Car is a 1980 Corolla GT with a 2TG motor...rollers say about 145bhp atfw.
Fast enough for me until I re-find my rallying legs...but even then ?
