You are supposed to get your suit stictched with fireproof nomex thread. the only person in ireland i know that specialises in this is Barry Horan of Horan Promotions in sligo.

thanks guys..was just a small bit confused! some people sayin you can put whatever you want on the suit, others saying you can put nothing on them!! but yet you see suits and you dont know wheter you should just look at or start to read them theres so much stuff on them!

The FIA 8856-2000 standard, which has been compulsory since December 2001, stipulates that:
- Direct embroideries must only be sewed on the outside layer of the suit.
- Badges sewed on the suit must have a homologated ISO 15025 A standard aramid background.
