I`ve just been buying the odd one from eBay & my local model shop,
I think some of them are very good for the price, but some are ****, with wonkey decals, missing parts they aren`t good at all,
Currently I`ve got the MG Metro 6R4, MK1 Escort RS1600, BMW M3, RS200, Quattro S1, Quattro A1, Subaru Impreza Grp.A & TR7 V8,

I bought the first few when they first came out last year. Found them to be fairly dodgy!! Burn's 206 from the monte had decals which were faint and nearly see through!! The red of the car was coming through the white decal and it was pretty poorly appiled! Thought id give them the benefit of doubt but it didnt seem to improve so i stopped buying them.

I buy them for base models and ad to them, otherwise bought in and sold on.
Still have 15 6R4's in a box in the loft
I've got them all so far. There will be a total of 70 models.

Another Fluping shelf :surrender:
Think the Spanish Rally Champions and French Monte Carlo rally collections from Altaya are much better value, average cost including postage via Ebay sellers is coming in at about £11 but these are full Ixo spec models. The next one in the Monte series is the 06 Focus of Gronholm. In the Spanish series have just got the Bassa M3 and it's a cracking model. Like anything if all you want is a model of a certain car and are not too fussed re the quality then the DeaGOSTINI one should do most people fine.

Some models from this collection are fetching some crazy prices on eBay lately,
Lately I`ve seen a Lancia Delta S4 Go for £34!! & A Peugeot 205 T16 Went for £27!
& To think that theese aren`t as good quality as the original IXO Versions, they usually go for £15-£20,

Just surprised that those models are fetching such high prices,
Like Mark said, if that`s the price they want to pay then its completely up to them,

I think a some people have bid high for these models not realising them to not be the better detailed proper IXO versions, not all sellers make it clear which they are selling
2nd hand car dealers, you couldnt be up them!!! :barf:
