Hi everybody.
Hopefully you are all excited about rally racing and hopefully interested in rally in North America. Today I released three videos covering the third place podium finish by Lauchlin O’Sullivan along with the intense PGT battle between Matthew Johnson and Tanner Foust at the recent Susquehannock Trail rally, held on June 3, 2006, in Pennsylvania USA.
The videos can be viewed free of charge at http://www.321govideo.com/stpr_2006.php
Each video highlights the day long battle as each driver tackles some of the fastest unpaved rally roads in North America. The Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally was the first of two rallies to decide the final X Games rally positions and provided for some of the most extreme rallying in a long time.
Lauchlin O’Sullivan, along with his co-driver Scott Putnam, finished third overall but most importantly won the first of just two qualifying positions for the upcoming ESPN X Games. After over 130 competitive miles they crossed the finish line with just minor damage to their CPD Racing Subaru.
Matthew Johnson and co-driver Kim DeMotte were in a close fight with their class competitor Tanner Foust and co-driver Scott Crouch during the entire day. Both drivers had trouble during the rally and in the end Matthew came out ahead for the Production GT class win.
