Im thinking about investing in a hans device. However i dont fany buyin a new helmet just yet, Is there any way you can get the hans posts fitted to a helmet? Thanks in advance.

Should probably be in another area so dont be surprised if its moved.

The answer to your question all depends on your brand of helmet and its age. If it can be retrofitted it will in nearly all cases have to be done by a specialist or the manufacturer, Its not something to be tried DIY!!

Thats excatly wat im thinking need to get some one that knows wat there doing. The helmat is a sabelt its only about 3 or 4 years old so not really pushed on changing it yet. but we'll see wat happens.

I enquired about doing similar earlier this year and was told NO.... retro fitting of posts is now banned ! You gonna have to buy a NEW 'Hans' Helmet !!

i have a small grey peltor complete with hans clips form sale,it has only done eight rallies and is in very good condition as it was worn sith a balaclava every time!!!pm for more details.

ask murrays , they were goin ta do it a couple months back but my helmet wasn suitable!!!

i no des moore used to fit them on the stilo's would be woth a phone call to see

Thanks for all the help anyway folks. It looks like id be as well buyin a new helmet. As its not a necessity just yet i think ill hold off for a wile and buy a package probably the best option.
