That bit on the straight is total committment, over and back over and back and still kept the boot in!

i was over at the malcolm wilson stages earlier this year and seen him, big commitment and he can definately steer that yoke

Has balls must say..... There's some drives in it the way he can keep the power on wit the wheels locked & using all the 200bhp

Ai them CV joints would be under P alright !

as he works in msport he might be able to hammer in some focus drives into the corsa either way he is some pilot

as for me entering the woods fidgy cant get to do a autocross never mind a rally the new corsa will be kitted out for forestry so hopefully might give one ago later in the year.

im sure workin in m-sport he picks up a few tricks, read in motorsport news that he was beating evo's in the ancro section until linkage went and forced him out! but wot a video!

Neil is a star and has regularly done some giant killing in the Corsa. He is a fantastic driver and a pleasure to watch on stage. Can't understand why he did not make it into the MSA Elite or Academy really.

He wouldnt be the first 1400 guy 2 put a few evo's 2 shame

But he would be one of the few to put WR Cars to shame on more than one occasion :) Severn Valley Stages being the most recent example before he retired.

Spoke to Nick last night, Neil's co-driver. He said they are nearly out of budget for the year and will have to abandon their rallying after the Quinton. As of yet, no budget for next year either. What a waste of talent.

They have approached people for sponsorship but so far it has come to nothing :( Shame that a talent like his will disappear into the background in a few weeks time.

Unfortunately its the nature of the sport because every year we hear the same story about lots of young drivers with no budgets after very promising starts in the lower classes.

Its quite sad that for the most part you need no only the talent but the budget.

Nial McShea would be one example who has to a certain extent overcame the budget problem but even he is currently stuck with no money to do many events (or any championships) :(

Neil has shown a great talent over the past number of years. He is not just a young hot shot that has suddenly appeared. His results speak for themselves and he has beaten much better machinery in the ANCRO and BTRDA for a few years now.

That boy Weaver can sure peddle! Somebody give him a GpN for a day, and see what he can do?

...not sure where the figure of 200bhp comes from???...its around about 175...!!!

As we know sponsorship is always a major issue and we have hit that wall at the moment that everyone hits that don't have wealthy parents etc etc.

We will continue to pursue people for sponsorship and we haven't given up just yet....

..and yes Neil is one helluva pilot!!!

We would like to come over to see you guys sometime so watch this space!!!

Nick if you ever coming over to compete on this side of the pond get young Bogie to come over aswell, have read a fair bit about the battles between you lot lately and it would be great to see how things would fair on unknown territory.

Hope you get some more money and get to finish off the season.....even though the 1400 c/ship is all but in the bag already :yes:
