rite lads, getten a set of kent cams for a focus. i know the car will need to be remapped and set up afterwards, where would be the best place to get them fitted and car remapped?

any decent mechanic should be able to fit the cams but depending on the ecu there are only a few choices (if its standard it will prob need changing). I had work done to an engine by martin treacy in westward engineering, he is also a decent mapper and was able to set the car up 100%.

ive also seen some of the work by JOMO engineering again he done a great job and was able to map the car perfectly (500 bhp evo) Jomo worked for cosworth for a good few years so really knows his stuff and can advise on what other mods would be needed.

Also as a side note, it might be worth upgrading other internal parts like lifters,valve springs etc as the kent cams will put a bit more pressure on the standard parts. Better fit these when ypur doing the cams as its a lot of cost to strip the head twice..
