we currently use a clio 172 in the scottish tarmak championship .before the last round we had the engine rebuilt , a breif spec is 287 cams, steel rods ,woosner pistons jenvey throttle bodies and a 182 manifold power is 240ish @7800
about 30mls into the event it dropped onto 3 cylinders and was knocking from the top end , have heard that the valves on these engines can be a weak point
has anybody got any info on this? also would a head from a 197 fit our block thanks for any help
