I see Brantz sell a sensor that connects into the electric speedometer sensor ('dividing prescaler interface' is what they call it), which can then be used to calibrate and run the trip meter.

Anyone have any experience of these electronic sensors?

I've been using the standard wheel sensor up until now and its seriously unreliable!

I have one in a road car for 3 years and use it for organising events, works like a dream:caution:
