Not a model, but those of us who like the Group B cars, thought it may be of interest to you.....To be published by McKlein in Spring 2010 is "The Group B Book - Owners Edition", limited to 500 books only, over 800 pages, in two volumes on the Group B era.... more info at www.thegroupbbook.com (http://www.thegroupbbook.com) . Apparently, this is gonna be the definitive book on GroupB's!
Suppose it could be looked on as an investment, sure take his "Rally Cars" book that's only appreciated in value!

Think about the early World Rallying books, I bought World Rallying 1 with my pocket money back in 1979, I still have it now, cost then £6.95....worth now £100 ? I now have all 31 of them....a good investment in my opinion. The Klein pictures are of course mainly in the Rallycourse books.....but again, early ones hold their money..........

Well thats not to bad. A good investment is right. Great books would never part with them.
I suppose the car on the front cover of the "Rally Cars" book adds to the value of it :D

Sure they are only printing 500 of em and i see they want you to pay for the postage as well.Mind you book looks fab photos will be breathtaking for sure and will go up in price.
From what I heard the original plan was to produce a book just for the members of the Slowly Sideways Club of which Herr K is the main man. Each version was to be built around a feature of the car that was owned by the specific member so guess this is a just a development from there. From what I understand his sons are main motivators behind making as much as possible from Daddy's archive!! Guess they are following on from the F1 book that was produced a couple of years back although some of those were so expensive you didnt even take ownership of the book and you had to make an appointment to look at it!
Mcklein having been buying up archives from a number of well known snappers from the 70s and 80s including a number of high profile Brits so guess they will have plenty to go at although when you've got a number of Klein books the same images do tend to appear now and again.
They have tried it before with a version of the Safari book they produced a few years ago with a special edition covered in Antelope pelt and featuring a specific year chosen by the purchaser with images that didnt appear in the standard version.
I love rally books having over 200 but I think I wont be shelling out that amount!
I got all excited when I knew they were releasing this having got the previous three books that he had. I had even set aside €200 for it in anticipation but when I saw the price, I baulked and used the money elsewhere!

Not worth paying that kind of money for that book no matter how exclusive he seems to think it is.

I bought both "Rally" and "Rally Cars" at the models show in the Royal Marine Hotel back in 2002 for €20 each and as Seán said above, I wouldn't part with them regardless of what they're worth.
Better make sure the wife doesn't see this or she might want to finance a shopping trip!
