hey ya lads i am looking to hire a hillclimb car its my first ever event i also have no licence how difficukt will it be to obtain one seeeming that i have diabetis and does anyone have a 2010 calander for hillclimbs ireland
Maesdavid, keep your eye on motorsportireland.com the 2010 calendar has not come out yet, we just finished the championship last week in donegal. the fact you have diabetis should not affect you getting a licence, i am a full time wheelchair user and once i had a letter from my doctor stating i was ok to drive well then you shouldnt have a problem. keep you eye on cars for sale section here or rally.ie and you should be able to pick up a cheap starting car. For your first year you will have to be in either class 1 or class 2 so do not get anything over a 1.6. Class 1 is 1.4 and class 2 is 1.6. choice is yours, best of luck
