As title have this ignition system on my mark two escort its a 1600 crossflow , the car car was running fine .It was actually sitting idling and then just stopped ,and now no spark :mad: think it could be that wee coilpack box type thing that sits on inner wing . Can you buy it on its own ? any help suggestions appreciated .

c bradley motor engineers has them on shelf kits or just control box just check small 3 pin plug going 2 distributor tighten conections.

Also check the IR LED in the bottom of the distributor. It cost us a class win last year.

Details on how to test a lumenition ignition system can be found on the lumenition website. Very easy to test and will identify which part is faulty.

Can only be bought as a complete unit.
