Clare Motor Club Economy Run Sunday 1st March

Clare Motorclub are holding an economy run this Sunday 1st March at 1pm. Meeting place is on the Quin Road, Ennis at petrol station forecourt. (Beside Western Garages). This promises to be a fun day out for members, aspiring members, family and friends.

This is basically a low speed event that takes place on “OPEN ROADS”. The idea is to follow the roadbook provided and use as little amount of fuel as possible. There are ten classes available and covers everything from a 1litre petrol car to 3 litre diesels etc. You must have a navigator with you to assist in finding your way about. There will also be a few surprises along the way, various questions, clues and challenges and a time trial to make things more interesting.

If anyone is interested in coming along please contact Gerry O Brien on 086-2766267 or send me a pm. Please note that entry to the event is free of charge.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday for a great days fun.

Regards
Joe Baker

Nope, everyone is welcome damo. Obviously only members can score points for clare motor club championship but we would welcome anyone. Of course should you wish to join the club that would be great also.

It went brilliant. Good craic had by all. I'll have full results up soon but it was won by Pat Meaney (CMC) in a 1.8tdi focus with an unbelievable mpg of over 90. Thanks to all who took part and also to the galway crews that made the journey down.
